About the role
As a Financial Controller, you will play an important role in supporting the daily finance operations and ensuring accurate and timely reporting. You will work closely with both Finnish and Swedish colleagues across the organisation.
You will be part of the administrative department, which is primarily based in Sweden. Good communication skills in English are a prerequisite.
The position is based in Oulu or Tampere, with a workload of 80–100 percent. Start date to be confirmed by agreement.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Daily accounting tasks, including VAT, reconciliations and tax declarations
- Managing accounts payable and receivable
- Supporting monthly closings and group reporting
- Liaising with authorities and external stakeholders
- Contributing to improvements and standardisation of finance processes
Qualifications and experience
We are looking for a candidate with a few years of experience in finance or accounting, who enjoys working both independently and as part of a team. You communicate fluently in Finnish and English, while Swedish is considered an advantage. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Office) and comfort working in various digital systems.
You are detail-oriented, proactive and communicative, with a structured way of working and a genuine interest in process improvement.
Additional merits:
- Experience in payroll or salary reporting
- Knowledge of annual reporting, audits or group consolidation
- Relevant degree in accounting, finance or equivalent work experience
